Aftermath

Hey guys,

So I went to the concert Friday night and it was AMAZING. The set-up, the lighting, the atmosphere everything was perfect. The venue was filled with the most enticing energy and everyone was having the time of their lives. Each of the boys sang passionately and showed how much they care for MyDays. I was singing along, dancing, cheering on our boys. I was so happy to see them in concert and I hope that next time they hold a fan-meet.

This has been my fourth concert this year, and they have all left me in awe. Each artist truly puts in countless hours of preparation and planning. I was speechless. I’m so ready for the next time Day6 comes.

And since yesterday was the first day of fall I’m going to share my fall inspired outfit, that I wore for the concert.

Shirt from Altar’d State and Free People skirt.

Thank you guys for listening😊

Love,

Minnie🙃

My dear Bunny 🐰

Dear Wonpil,

I would like to start by apologizing to the other members. I love Day6 and I love all the members but my favorite member is Wonpil.

You have such a contagious smile which spreads like wild fire. Every time I see it I can’t help but smile haha. You are such a beautiful, fast, and loving bunny. You are always so cute with the members and show a lot of affection towards them. Even though sometimes they don’t know how to react I know that they appreciate and love you for it.

I can say that at that moment my heat fills with joy. I can feel all sorts of emotions which remind me of the happiest times of my life and puts a smile on my face. For that I thank you. You’re always smiling and show kindness to the people around you. Thank you for allowing me to keep seeing you smile 😊 #day6 #gravitytour #wonpil

Dear Puppy 🐶

Dear Dowoon,

As our youngest member you have become a puppy. Adorable, playful , and clever. You have showed us that your drum skills are superb and so are your gaming skills. Your eagerness to learn more always surprises us.

You have started to take vocal lessons and MyDays couldn’t be more thankful. Hearing your voice along the other members always makes me smile. I will like to think that the other members are jubilant to have you sing with them. I still remember the first time that I heard you sing, it was for the song This Beautiful Feeling, it filled me with happiness. I couldn’t stop smiling. Thus, I hope that during this tour you show us more of your skills as both a drummer and a singer.

I look forward to seeing how your skills improve and I know that you will keep MyDays updated via twitter or YouTube. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow!! MyDays send you all their love and support!! 🙂 #day6 #dowoon #drummer

Dear Chicken Little 🐥

Dear Jae,

Our chicken little is brave, smart, and talented. Apart from your sweet guitar skills, you have become a true entertainer with your witty tweets and YouTube videos. With the help of BM you have also polished your dance skills and shows us that you still go it. I’ve enjoyed watching your YouTube videos, especially the ones that include other artist like BM from KARD, Sammy from The Rose, and Amber. I love how you find ways to tease the other members and enjoy your sarcasm.

For some reason you remind me of my boyfriend hehehe. When he’s quiet he seems like he’s angry but in reality he doesn’t know how to approach a situation. This happens when he’s not familiar with someone or something. In that aspect I think your similar. Since you’re still trying to learn the Korean culture, it makes sense for you to pause and think before saying the wrong thing. This shows how considerate your are with your fans and the other members.

You don’t usually show the fuzzy, warm side of yourself; but little by little we have seen how thoughtful and loving you are. I’m so content to see you perform this Friday. I’m sure that you will blow us away with your performance. MyDays send you all our love and support!!

Clever Fox 🦊

Dear Young K,

Your mascot is the fox. A beautiful, smart, and clever fox. You have managed to write an entire album in a matter of months while attending school which shows your dedication for your members and fans.

Every song tells us a little bit more about you. As a my day I feel so thankful that you have decided to share parts of yourself with us. All the happiness, sadness, worries, excitement and love that you’ve felt, transcends in your music. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve fallen in love with one of your songs or felt that same pain you were feeling. Each song has helped me through my own struggles. Each song has brought me joy. And with each song I have made wonderful memories. Thank you. It’s not only your music that has captivated many it’s also the way you sway.

Your dance moves are second to none and you have become the official fan boy of Itzy (referring to the cover dance of the song “Dalla Dalla”). I hope that this tour brings plenty of amazing memories. I can’t wait to hear your voice and witness your spectacular bassist skills. Mydays are sending you all their love and support! Stay healthy!

Dear Bear 🐻

Music is a universal language. It doesn’t matter where your from, the language you speak, or if you can’t hear. You can feel it everywhere. In your soul, in your bones, in your heart.

I love music. I listen to every kind of music; from country to Spanish ballads and from 80’s rock to French pop. My music shelf is very diverse but my ultimate to-go is Korean music. Which brings me to the theme for this week: K-pop. At the end of the week, Friday, I will be attending Day6’s concert. I’m ecstatic to be able to see them perform live.

Most of you don’t know but Day6 is a Korean indie/pop band with five amazing guys; Sunjin, Young K, Jae, Wonpil, and Dowoon. These five guys write and arrange most of their music. So in honor of Day6 Gravity tour, I will be posting and open letter to each member starting with our leader Sunjin.

Dear Sunjin,

As our leader you’ve had a lot of responsibility on your shoulders, and are always looking after the other members. Your mascot is the bear. Like the bear you are warm, reliable, and caring. Your voice is strong and confident which makes it a pleasure to hear you sing. The reactions you make are always entertaining, and the way you get startled when you can’t answer Wonpil’s questions is adorable. And the fact that all of you guys are always forgetting the lyrics to your songs is amusing. I’m really excited to see you perform live. I know that this performance will be mesmerizing and we’ll make some unforgettable memories. I can’t wait to see you! Make sure to stay healthy and have lots of fun during the tour. You deserve all the recognition and applause. Mydays are sending all their love and support! #day6 #myday #kpop

Beginner fashionista

I’ve never been the kind to start my day at 5am. Don’t get me wrong I am a morning person, but I’m talking about the girls who wake up before the crack of dawn and start getting ready for school or work. They take a nice hot shower and put on a bottle of lotion. Pick a nice, trendy outfit and then put on make-up. Nope. Not me.

As a kid I never took interest in shopping or in the stuff I wore to school. My grandmother used to dress us before school so I didn’t mind. Even in high school, I couldn’t really try to look nice since I had practice in the afternoons and sometimes in the mornings. I would’ve shown up all sweaty and gross and well I rather not…

College was a little different. I put a little more effort into the way I dressed and tried to work with what I already had. In my efforts to make things work I started to use Pinterest. This site was of great help. It gave me many ideas and slowly I began to develop my own style.

Now in my 20s I’m a bit more confident in picking patterns and prints that will look good on me. Although I prefer basic colors and prints, I try to get out of my comfort zone and pick colors that I usually don’t get. You’re style will change over time based on what’s trendy, the people you hang around with, and things that come back into style. It’s okay to not know right away what works for you. What’s important is knowing what you like. If you don’t like the way something fits or feels, then you won’t feel comfortable wearing it.

Below I attached some pictures of some of my favorite outfits I’ve worn so far.

American Eagle mom shirt with a Nirvana tee.
